Microsoft Windows released its latest public version Windows 7. On July 22, 2009 Microsoft Windows 7 was released to manufacturing and on October 22, 2009 it was released for general retail availability within three years span of its previous release Windows Vista. Windows Vista introduced a large number of new features whereas Windows 7 was mainly introduced to focus more on Windows line upgrade with a target of full application and hardware compatibility that are already compatible with Vista. Superbar is the name for the new taskbar by Microsoft and Microsoft’s presentations in the year 2008 revealed a redesigned Shell of Windows and multi-touch support is focused more. Windows 7 doesn’t include some applications that were included in the Microsoft Windows prior release such as Windows Photo Gallery, Windows Movie Maker, Windows Calendar and Windows Mail.

Many new features are included in Windows 7 such as handwriting recognition, touch advances, hard disks virtual support, improved boot performance and improvement on multi-core processors. Support for Windows 7 systems includes graphic cards from different vendors capable of multiple heterogeneous functions called Heterogeneous Multi-adapters. The default User Account Control in Windows 7 that allows untrusted software launching which exploits any trusted application is criticized by the critics. Certain image decoders were also added in Windows 7 that allows RAW image viewing like Mac that allows thumbnails of raw image, display and preview of metadata in the Windows Explorer, plus Windows Photo Viewer slideshows and Window Media Center. “Making your PC simpler” is how Windows 7 is marketed by Microsoft. However people of different kinds can have different Windows 7 editions. Starter, Home Premium, Home Basic, Enterprise, Professional and Ultimate are the different editions available. Starter has been designed for the netbooks, Home Premium for normal users at home, Home Basic for the developing world, Enterprise edition for larger businesses, Professional edition for small businesses and Ultimate for enthusiasts and corporates.

Archaeologists found yet another pyramid evidence deep below the deserts of Egypt which was constructed 4,300 years ago for storing the remains of a the mother of a pharaoh. This is yet another addition to the list of pyramids found so far in that area making the total count to 138 pyramids and still counting.
Most of the pyramids were constructed as tombs for the Pharaohs of the country and their consorts during the old periods and of Middle Kingdom.
The Egyptian pyramid which was known earlier is the Djoser Pyramid that was built in the third dynasty. The complex surrounded by this pyramid and the pyramid were designed by architect Im-hotep, and are generally considered as best and oldest structure in the world of monuments built of dressed masonry.
Giza, which is in the outskirts of the city Cairo is the place for popular and best known pyramids of Egypt. Many of the pyramids of Giza are listed amongst the largest manmade structures ever built in the history.
Giza is also a place where the great Egyptian pyramid, Pyramid of Khufu was built. Seven Wonders of the Ancient World list includes this great structure also in it which is still in existence.

Hummer, a brand name of off-road vehicles is first introduced into the market by General Motors (GM). The original Hummer H1 was a military vehicle whereas the other H2 and H3 were described as civilian market vehicles. General Motors announced bankruptcy on June 1, 2009, and the news that the Hummer brand will be discontinued which was revealed by GM hurt many Hummer fans. However the following day GM told that the brand will be sold to an unknown company which GM didn’t mention. Then CNN identified the next day on June 2, 2009, the buyer of the truck unit of Hummer as China-based Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Company Ltd. The agreements financial terms were not disclosed at that time.

“N/A” is what is listed by GM for the fuel economy for its H1 and H2 and is most likely the primary factor in consumer decline in demand for the monsters. The Humvee which was originally manufactured for specific military purposes and applications was introduced to consumers in the year 1992 when Arnold Schwarzenegger, the then governor of California showed interest in it. Later on Schwarzenegger repented and started “greening” his all owned hummers and also sold some of them fearing the potential damage that they can cause to the environment.

Area 51 also called as Groom Lake is always an interesting topic to discuss for UFO enthusiasts. This is known to be a top secret mili-tary base inside which modern state of art buildings,huge runways for latest war planes, different towers are located. This rectangular area is guarded 24×7 by expert guards named camo-dudes and sophisticated surveillance along the borders. Public photographing is strictly prohibited there and security wires are indicated by many warning signs to keep the public away from breaking through and exploring inside.

Tony LaVier who is a test pilot, in April 1955, was looking for a huge remote area that accommodates the U-2 spy plane testing. Groom Lake looked like a perfect place for him for the testing and aircraft landing since it is a dry type of lake and is remotely located with certain type of equipment already available. Groom Lake’s southern part was made the runway. With a cost of $800,000 on July 1955, runways, mobile halls, control towers and dining halls were constructed. Lockheed Skunk Works supervised and controlled the work. U-2 spy plane made its first flight on the lake in August 4, 1955. September 1960 is when the place was under a major expansion. From then, many other war planes were also included for testing. A-12, F-117A and C-54 are some of those flights. However, some of them were unsuccessful and some pilots were also killed in the failed tests. Years later in the 80’s, some parts of the former public areas, specifically the Whitesides Peak and the Freedom Ridge were legitimately closed for public.

Throughout all these years, some visitors and even those people who live near the area have confirmed sightings of UFO’s in the area flying around during night time. They also mentioned about some rumbling and strange noises that can be heard there often. These accusations which sound like paranormal and Area 51 existence are always denied by the government continuously. They tell that the area is only used for military bombings and for nothing else.
