We miss you TOM!
Nov 25th

It’s been really long that we clutched a glimpse of this hottest guy alive. Though he is been fogged by many controversies lately, but he shall always be the Top Gun Man for his female fans. From past few years he’s more into the news for unwelcome talks basically for his religious beliefs. Scientology, which was introduced in his life by his former wife Mimi Roger, stands a strong role in his life. And it is for scientology, as per Tom’s belief, which pulled him back from dyslexia.
Who could ever forget the Oprah episode? His jumping jack image was long played by the critics and made great appearances on magazines, TV Shows, news articles and what not. But it was all fair for a normal man deeply in love with the lovely Katie Homes. Why can’t we just accept an extraordinary man behaving like a normal human being? But what came as a big blow was the end of his long relation with Paramount. No matter what time brings for him, this samurai will fight all wars of the world making all missions possible. We await his grand come back with eyes wide open!
Shoe or NO shoe
Nov 18th

The talks between shoe runners and barefoot champions has raised alarm amongst the shoe manufacturers who have long been around providing best cushion to the fastest feet out there. It’s been more than 40 long years that the 4 billion $ industry of sport shoe has been improvising the shoe structure from springs, foams, airbladders to rubber padding and even gel. With the support layer getting advanced and thinner with time, it gave up an interesting idea of bare foot running which has strung some chords.
The former president of American academy of podiatric sports medicine feel that the shoes with thinner soles can give shorter stride and mid foot strike to the runner, preventing an injury. On the other hand, natural-motion evangelists consider the layers of fabric and foam as a reason to make our feet “lazy” making the runner hit heavy on heels, directing the effect to hips, knees and ankles. So, with thinner or no shoes, it’s the mid foot that lands on the ground making the knees and ankle act as spring absorbers, keeping off with sprains, plantar fasciitis and other joint problems. So now, the run is for the minimal.
Lung & Skin Cancer- Decoded
Nov 11th
Now this news is about to change the worlds of many – up- side down. Finally the technology has surpasses the borders and decoded the genetic code for two commonly found cancers. Scientists from ten different countries involved with the international cancer genome consortium admit that after five more years, they shall win the battle against this slayer disease. With this new wave, scientists all over the world have accelerated their work to catalogue all other genes that cause many other types of cancer. The work has been distributed amongst the countries with China studying stomach cancer, US doing with the cancers of brain, pancreas and ovary, Japan looking at liver, India at mouth and UK studying the breast cancer.
The tagging of each gene responsible for different type of cancer will thus help in preparing target drugs to benefit only the infected genes, keeping patient away from its various side effects. It will then be as simple as blood test, revealing all flaws in the mutated genes. What’s adding to the excitement of winning is that it is for the very first time that any cancer genome was completely sequenced out after long rigourous studies over these.
Coal rich China!
Nov 5th

After the longest wall, China is now digging one of the biggest man-made holes on this earth. This coal mine is supposed to be so big that it can fit a small town within it. The need of such a coal mine indicates the huge amount of carbon expenditure in this fast paced country. Coal is known to supplement China’s 2/3rd energy consumption.
Despite contributing to up to 40 % of coal mines all around the world, china is known to have enough for them for next 90 years. But what they fail is to calculate the speed with which coal is consumed within the country.
The surrounding stations are known to burn 20,000 tonnes of coal per day and looking at this, who would believe their claims of reducing the power utilization up to 40% by year 2020. With the pace, this country is urbanising, the power usability will surely be only on a rise. But to sort this out, it is also bringing in the world’s biggest wind farm. And it is supposed to deliver electricity equivalent to 16 coal power stations. Let’s hope the ‘clean energy-green energy’ concept of china works as they plan maintaining a stabilised co2 count in environment.
